The short version: BlinkKind is a local-only Mac app. It does not have an account system, does not collect analytics, and does not make network calls in this build.

What BlinkKind stores

What BlinkKind reads

These reads use public AppKit / CoreGraphics APIs. They do not require Accessibility, Screen Recording, Camera, Microphone, or Full Disk Access.

What BlinkKind does not do

Launch at login

If you enable Launch at login, BlinkKind asks macOS to register itself as a login item through SMAppService. The setting is managed by macOS and can be turned off in the app or in System Settings.

Updates

Version 0.1.0 has no update checker and makes no network calls. If a future version adds an update check, it will be documented here before release.

Children

BlinkKind is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your choices

Download analytics

When you download the DMG or the source zip, the web server records the timestamp, IP address, user agent, referrer, and requested file in a server log. This is used only to count downloads and see which version is being downloaded. It is not used for advertising or profiling.
